The figure – interior relationship explored in Genre Contrasts developed into a body of work – mainly drawing based – that considered the interaction between a woman and the room into which she had been confined. Once again, these drawings were informed by aspects of film and narrative theory (especially the writings of Laura Mulvey), and more elusively, the film Bladerunner first released in 1982.
