During these years, drawing, or maybe more precisely works on paper, became the most significant feature of personal practice, functioning mainly as scores or preparatory studies for future performance/action-events, installation/sited works or paintings.

Progressively, over the course of these years these drawings began to be considered as self-sufficient artworks that developed their own identity and singularity. Through these drawings emerged a complex system of visual codes and symbols that went on to form the basis of a working strategy that would lead to Three Projects in 1978.
